With fall fast approaching, it’s time for football, the SCST annual chili cook-off…
AND the SCST Board of Directors elections!
Our swim and tennis facilities are a great asset to our neighborhood, and the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and Committee Members volunteer to keep everything running efficiently and safely for everyone’s enjoyment.
The Nominating Committee needs 4 club members to assist with recruiting Board of Director and Committee volunteers for the 2011 season. The Annual Election Meeting will be scheduled this fall based on when the Nominating Committee is able to secure enough nominees, per the club bylaws (which are posted at http://spaldingcorners.org/sc_joomla/bylaws-rules-forms-scstcmenu-60). |

The Spalding Corners Home Owners Association meeting is going to be held on Monday, September 20th at 7 PM at Little Azio. We will be electing new board members, voting on the budget, discussing any new business and enjoying some appetizers. Be there or be square! The SCHOA is concerned mostly with the upkeep of the neighborhood. If you have swim/tennis questions or concerns that is the SCSTC, a separate organization.

Mark your calendars for the Spalding Corners Annual Luau and Pig Roast!
Saturday, May 22
5:00 pm - ???
Dinner will be served at 6 - bring an appetizer or dessert to share.
Catch up with your neighbors, relax by the pool (open until 10!), enjoy music and games with the DJ, and let the kids jump till the drop in the bounce houses!
Please RSVP so we can get an accurate count for food. Save $$$ by reserving your tickets by May 16th!

The annual SCSTC Fourth of July Parade and Family Fun day was a huge success. Here is what you missed if you were unable to attend: Kids parade on bikes and scooters around the neighborhood, face painting, pool fun, hula hoop contest, DJ music, cannonball contest, and all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, desserts, and drinks! Remember these events aren't possible without volunteers! Thanks to all those that pitched in to help and made the event a huge success. |

It's that time of year again. Spring cleaning and the SCHOA Neighborhood Garage Sale! This year the sale is planned for May 15th. The SCHOA volunteers will handle advertising the sale online and putting up signs around the area directing people to the sale on the day of the event. All you have to do is haul your stuff to your driveway and count all your money! There is NO CHARGE to participate in the sale this year - It's just another perk of your SCHOA membership. Mark your calendar for Saturday morning May 15th and start cleaning out those closets. |
